Before you name your duck hero, there are a couple of things to consider. Firstly, DuckQuest is kind of silly, so even serious names are likely to seem funnier in this context. Secondly, puns are fun. When the joke eventually becomes stale, your character should be strong enough to weather it.
So be as bold or as boring as you want. You can borrow from fiction, famous people or relatives. Uncle Bob the Barbarian is just as welcome at the gaming table as Duck Norris or Alfred Rupert Sheldrake III. During play it’s highly likely that other players will come up with a name for your character also. Over time, Alfred may become Alfie, or The Duckinator. Roll with it.

I like those names Bat. Do you think I should create a naming table for random name generation?

I think a few examples should suffice.

I agree that a few examples should get people thinking. Ten or so, maybe more for people to riff off of.

My Character manifested Spontaneously upon registration here on Forum, fully formed and Named (such being the Nature of ' Inspiration ')
~~~> A resident of the Isle of Nowhere Land at the centre of the Homeward Ocean, a young Drake was known merely by his trade, "Kief Herder". Approached by an Ancient RuneMaster, the duckling was given a "mystically charged fishing pole" rumored to belong to his Father ('Who is 'Duck Wader' .. ? ... and why do I have to pay you 10 Lunars if it was my Fathers..?)
Shortly thereafter, the adolescent duckling ran away to join an Acting Troupe, ( "Watersign Theatre" ) in order to learn Fencing. His desire to erect wooden architectural barriers defining personal space being completely misunderstood, the now apprentice was instead handed a large curved wooden spork, and randomly beaten about the beak and wings until he learned to block such random attacks by reflex, instinctually... Thus; the Warrior, was Hatched ~
'Kief Herder' was shortened over time to 'Keefer'.
His break-out role was as the chaos-touched Wampyre Duckling antagonist in the morality play "the Lost Drakes". The growing reputation and success of the Troupe led to overseas Tours to stage productions in Lismelder, Sartar, and Prax, where whispered legends in seedy bars suggested that the Isle Nowhere Land was once a connected part of the Continental SwampLands prior to the Great Sundering.
Thus, the Young Duckling once named 'Kief Herder, of the Sundered Land' became known as Keefer Sunderland.
